Microsoft 推出新的search engine: Bing

看完介紹之後，那些features 當然看來不錯，不過有時候search engine 是比較accuracy，chowky可以肯定地表示，bing在幾年內都沒有可以達到google web 方面、以及engine 上的技術層面。
所以，bing 打另一種的戰術 (feature)，decision engine，表示這個engine 是以幫助你找答案。

奇怪的是，flash player 都開到，不用install silverlight?….ms自己也放棄silverlight?

[AIR] Pandora One
再有一個新的AIR application : Pandora desktop application，這是一個月費形式的music player.所以不用付錢
看來silverlight 真的沒法搶到market share
網絡上最危險的keyword
跟據 McAfee’s recently released report “The Web’s Most Dangerous Search Terms“ ‵ 所指出，最危險的搜尋字是screensaver
份report 是值得一看的。不過沒有中國網頁方面的研究
Cartier to Withdraw Suit Against Apple Over iPhone Applications
Apple 反應真是好好好好好快，cartier 一告app store 其中兩個app 侵犯cartier 的版權，一日內就將app store 的兩個app killed.
當然不是第一次。
Cartier’s short-lived complaint was not the first about software offered though Apple’s App Store. Last month, Apple was hit by a complaint from child welfare groups for allowing the sale of a game, in which players try to silence a crying baby by shaking the phone. Apple removed the game and apologized.
總之，管理platform 的人，一定要反應快，(不過: application 不是apple 寫的，當然可以立刻下架。但是，究竟誰有權力判斷有侵犯版權呢? 當然不是apple 呢~不過! 其實 agreement 上面一早講明了apple 的權力，apple 有權令appication 下架。)

facebook 打算推出一個新的credit system: facebook wallet
It’s become increasingly clear in recent weeks that Facebook is finally inching toward the launch of a micropayment platform. The social site has been expanding the presence of its virtual currency, which Facebook debuted last November when it changed the monetary units for its “Gifts” product into “credits” rather than U.S.
其實，facebook 向ecommerce 進發只是遲早的事，現在有很多facebook application 都賺很多錢，但是facebook $1 都收不到。所以facebook 造一個類似paypal。
在developer 角度來講，又有一個新的領域可以賺錢，不過這次要和facebook 對分呢~

Google PowerMeter Partner 監測電腦的耗電量
Google 一直以來都展示green concerned，這個工具，，可以監測電腦的耗電量。一如傳統，web base 。看來web 開始取代desktop了
