概念 Cam 能屈能伸
除咗書枱燈，有無諗過 DC鏡頭仔都可以扭來扭去，仲能夠調校角度影相？歐洲就有廠家發表一款概念數碼相機 Fleximus camera，佢採用邊種技術並唔重要，最過癮係點樣擰都得，機身仲有個約 3″闊嘅實時取景屏幕，拍片都冇問題，但始終係概念，幾時真正見街無人知。

Website Navigation Usability 小貼士

每一個 website ，除了 visual 上要設計之外，navigation 上的設計其實更為重要。 試問user click來click 去都找不到自己想要的information。這種website 的user experience 一定不會好，即使visual 上做得好好，都只是一個外觀很好的website。
User 找不到想要的info，看完就算，對於你的目標，就是否這麼簡單呢？你可能會失到potential customers。
所以website navigation 上面一定要花心機去令website 更容易去browse.
這方面就應該要參考一下其他人的做法呢。
1. 簡潔的 Menu Navigation
這個例子當然會是apple 的design。直接的表達，就會避免混亂，而且可以令到visitors 更容易找到想要的資料
2. 加上主頁的link去自己的logo 上
現在很多不同的website 都已經是這樣做了，差不多是 standard 做法，最重要的是visitors 早已習慣。

[Flex] HTML WYSIWYG Editor
相信如果大家有做開flash 的都知道，flash 在html 的support 真的很有限。簡單來講flex 的RichTextEditor 是useless. Chowky 都有試下自己開發一下，不過就問題太多，不值得投放太多時間。
見到別人這個html editor ，以為有人真的會重寫整個richtexteditor component不過原來是embed 了html javascript 的editor.
這樣做的話，始終不是chowky 想要的解決方法。
原本以為 Text Layout Framework 可以幫到手，不過他會有自己的一套syntax (chowky 倒覺得是正常的），當然情況就不太好的呢～。chowky 一直覺得flash 不應該做排版的工作，所以利用flash 來做CMS 真的有點怪。
不過這個editor 應該夠用了。希望free 的text layout editor 會推出～～ 問題就會解決了，哈～

LiveDocx: Dynamically create Word, PDF
若果大家是developer，都應該知道怎樣create pdf….
大部份人的做法是利用html to pdf 的API 去generate 不同的pdf （當然有個最好的解決方案﹣LiveCycle PDF Generator，但中小型project 根本買不起呢）….但問題是，這種做法就太花時間了。這方面真是一個很大的問題，所以當找到一個新的解決方案，當然就要立即介紹一下。
LiveDocx 是什麼？
LiveDocx is a template-based document creation platform.
It allows developers to create word processing documents by combining user-defined Microsoft Word templates with data from disparate data sources, such as XML files and databases. It is typically used to create professional, print-ready word processing documents in DOCX, DOC, RTF and PDF. It’s easy and well proven.
LiveDocx 是利用了 Web Service 的技術，這亦是cloud 常見到implementation方法。因為完全不用安裝／config （最怕setting，煩)，LiveDocx support 的language有：
- ASP.NET
- PHP
Twitter 收購 GeoAPI
GeoAPI 是一個 location services platform. 只是提供GEOCODE 就可以轉換成為 city, country 的 description.
Twitter 之前已經有一個叫做GeoTagging API 。現在加上GeoAPI 的 platform.
Twitter 還可以加強自已成為major player of location-brokering service （Latitude or Fire Eagle)
現在大家都在說cloud computing. GeoAPI 當然算是一個cloud services. 這是一個developer 的市場，是否twitter 想利用這個形式去改變自己的business model?…business model 是否會charge /thousand queries? 暫時未知道。 不過要做的話，現在來說他們一定做到。因為現在已經有50，000 applications 正在使用他們的API. 這會否成為一個附加增值服務？
大家都開始發覺Location 的service 是有市場的，google 都推出latitude， twitter 都推出api……不知道apple, facebook 會等多久來會有差不多的東西推出？
[iPhone] 微軟Bing 推出 iPhone版
先先有yahoo iphone version, google iphone version，現在就連bing 都推出iphone version。
雖然大家是競爭對手，不過都要把自己的product 推出在不同的平台。才有更大的market coverage.
大家亦可以試試bing 的map control 的technology level.

Palette Picker 限時免費
這個軟件是adobe dreamweaver 的extension.
這個extension 可以讓你preview, sort 不同的colour scheme. (當然是由kuler 下載的)，offline 可以preview 其實都是不錯的。
不過photoshop ，illustrator 都已經有了kuler…就不知道要來做什麼呢…..
如果你只有dreamweaver 的話，就當然必下呢~.

chowky 雖然平時很少用到after effect，photoshop 就經常要接觸到，要做到這種程度的cg….原來photoshop 都是可以做到的….很難以致信呢～
連荷理活的的大製作都是利用了adobe。。。多媒體市場應該都是adobe 是leader 呢.

[AIR] AIR 2.0 Passing Arguments to Native Executables
對chowky 來說，這個功能是十分有用的。
可以直接和不同的native 的executables communitcate. (當然這亦令到利用了native executables 的portability 差了）
不過chowky 一直都等待AIR 支援 （以前的做法是利用java 做中間人再communicate，一來麻煩，二來技術需求上很大）
當然air 2.0 的 multi-touch 的support 都是很吸引的～
