Apple 這招「肥水不留別人田」的做法當然引來不少批評，而且，之後apple 出了公開信表明不加入flash的原因，而 adobe 就當然再出公開信反擊，搞到事件升級 （當然這是肯定會發生）。近日又有更新～

《華爾街日報》引述消息稱，美國負責調查反壟斷的聯邦貿易委員會（FTC） 及司法部，正準備就蘋果限制iPhone及iPad應用程式開發，展開初步調查，研究有關限制是否有違流動器材的競爭。蘋果最近修改條款，要求為 iPhone開發應用程式的供應商，一定要使用蘋果的工具，亦禁止程式將iPhone的技術資料傳給第三者，有關更改引來開發商及網絡廣告商不滿，引起 FTC注意。

蘋果iPhone不支援Adobe的Flash，而修例後軟件開發商亦不能用Adobe的軟件，蘋果跟Adobe最近便就此展開罵戰。彭博通訊社稱，FTC是因接獲Adobe投訴而研究事件。

cross-platform mobile application development based on Flex，聽上去不錯。

暫時未試過真正使用，要等他們有真正的source code 推出，(chowky 當然要看看iphone 的sample app)，但iphone 的 emulator又怎樣做呢? 是否能在window 上寫呢?

另外一方面連andriod 都support，聽上去都令人興奮~

寫html + php ，在window 中 chowky 就會在notepad ++ 來寫的，但在mac 的環境中又沒有notepad++ ，又不想利用xcode 來寫html , php 就更加不會，因為兩個的debug 的方法都是直接利用browser 就可以見到，chowky 只需要一個syntax highlighter。 （chowky 對dreamweaver 的 syntax highlight，有點意見，不是chowky 的喜好，覺得有點怪怪的）

Smultron 是一個很好用的程式碼編輯器，類似window 上的notepad++。

支援各種程式語言如：C/C++、Objective-C、Java… 等語法著色。

並可將偏好設定儲存到 iDisk

支援的程式碼 highlight.

首先是titanium 是 opensource，另外這件東的 concept 其實不錯的，真的有點似adobe air，mobile, desktop 的version 都有buildin 的sqlite support。 主要的分別，titanium 就是compiled and run in native OS，所以分為，mobile version, desktop version and web version ，而 ADOBE AIR 就放在flash platform / AIR 之中。而titanium 就比adobe air 走快了一步，支援了mobile (iphone and andriod) ，所以都有些人認為是air 的最大的competitor (為什麼沒有m$ 的silverlight，不入流呢)。

另外就說說怎樣開發~
Titanium 很特別 (有好有壞)，他應用了web technology，所以要用到html/css/javascript 另外還可以用ruby, python, php (這方面真的很怪)

Adobe Air 就利用了flex + actionscript 3.0 (大家都應該熟的呢~)

[都說說silverlight... 利用了.net framework ，所以可以用c# / vb (chowky 只會用c#，不是chowky 不懂，只是利用vb 這個structured language 來做object oriented 的programming... 很難接受呢)。這方面silverlight 和air 相似，大家都要install runtime 才可以用得到]

chowky 雖然覺得titanium 的concept 不錯，可惜的是，immature，documentation 不足夠。 搞到chowky 看了很多零碎的documentation.

titanium 其實有點怪呢，利用了web 技術 (有點說不通) ， 因為web 是stateless 的所以才會有 session 的，而 titanium 就利用了app: ，取代了”http:” (desktop 都要navigateURL….不習慣~)

另外，就是加入了php, python, ruby，(大家有無奇怪呢，這些是server-side programming, ruby好像不是server-side…，anyway, web 向來都是 client-server architecture 的)。titanium 的做法，就是加入

純粹javascript 開發必定很辛苦，有了php 的支援，應該好了很多呢~

不過值得一讚的是titanium 已經加入了collaboration / analysis / distribution 的功能，所以長期來說，如果稳定了的話，真有可能會很強呢~ 整個流程在開發工具之前已經想好。 (整個流程剛剛才在adobe 上加入)

題外話，究竟是否adobe 學習了titanium 的做法，直接把flash compile as 一個native 的iphone application，等apple 沒有法子阻止。

總結一下:

Titanium concept 上不錯，不過還要時proof cross platform 的能力。chowky 覺得這不算是最好時機學習。
既然是native 的 OS application，desktop 的native control 方面，其實可以做深入一不點，（雖然air這方面都沒有做到）。
analysis, distribution 的功能雖然有，但必定沒有adobe推出的這麼完整。
做一些簡單的widget (都只是和web app 差不多，而且還有distribution 和analysis 的功能)，chowky 覺得是可以的，但中型至大型的project 就不用考慮了。

當你drag 指南針的時候，指針就會自動指向北。

這個effect 方面是利用actionscript 3 的tweening class.

Chowky 個人比較喜歡 tweenmax 的library。因為只要一句actionscript 就可以做到很不的animation。

(這個post 都比較數學呢~~，要atan…… 要這樣計角度來做，原來真的不簡單呢~)

可能坊間太多不同的charting component，所以adobe 索性open source。

但若果沒有錢的話（無錢就唔好做la！！），chowky　做得IT 的解決方案，當然要找其他可行的方法。（正路行不到，唯有繞道）

Red5 是一個 opensource 利用了 java　寫成的。可以透過apache　tomcat　（其實只要deploy到.war file的application　server　就可以了）來achieve　video／audio　streaming。


想買得fms的，當然是指video streaming，不過除了 streaming 之外還可以做到

Streaming Audio/Video (FLV, h264, AAC, and MP3)
Recording Client Streams (FLV only)
Shared Objects
Live Stream Publishing
Remoting (AMF)

chowky對於，streaming、recording　client　stream、live　stream　publishing　有興趣得多。
換言之，可以做到streaming　（廢話），live　broadcast，video　conferencing…

因blazeDS是可以做到shared　objects、amf。所以沒什麼吸引的地方。

不過都搞了一整天，始終少接觸 tomcat。

造出來的 performance　比想像中好。而且client　side　上完全等同 fms 的編程方式，非常好，這是大家所指的scalability，當個red5　不能負苛的時候　（意即成功了之後），就可以升做flash　media　server　（到時幾千us　dollar　都不成問題了吧）。
