Google 推出Google Chrome Frame ，IE 變身 Chrome

資深的電腦用家都可聽過微軟Internet Explorer(IE)的種種問題，包括保安漏洞、容易被病毒入侵、個人資料容易被網釣(Phising)即係假網站盜用等等。而如果從事網頁設計的人士，相信對IE更是「又愛又恨」！雖然IE已推出了第8版本，但仍有很多人使用第6版本(安裝第7版本會驗證閣下的Windows是否正版)。不過即使第8版本加入了不少新功能，而且會隨Windows 7附送，但其速度仍然較其他瀏覽器慢，例如Firefox, Safari同最新推出的Google Chrome。

Google最近推出Google Chrome Frame，全面「入侵」IE的領土。當用戶安裝了Google Chrome Frame後，即可在IE上體驗Google Chrome的速度。只需在瀏覽的網址前加上cf:即可，如下圖所示：

Google 推出Google Chrome Frame ，行IE 無難度

Google 這件東西，是十分實用的 (當然是 web developer)。可以用來debug IE 系列的browser.

現在的IE6 很多都要corporate user. 家用機的都應該轉得七七八八。

google 當然想借此汲納，ie6的corporate user 去用google chrome. 因為有很多legacy 的program 是純粹支援ie6 only。所以如果有一個product 可以表明支援ie6的話，chowky 覺得google 的market share 有機會上升。

相反的m$ ，他實在太小心了，太慢，以為慢慢來就可以等用家自動更新，整個internet market 其實是不會等這樣慢的公司。

Google 大中華區總裁兼Google公司全球副總裁李開復請辭

Google Inc. announced that Kai-Fu Lee, president of Google Inc.’s China operations, is resigning from the company after working to establish the Internet giant as a formidable player in the country.

google 之後究竟會怎樣做? 畢竟大中華這個市場很大，google 要keep 住強勁的growth ，必定要開發developing country 的market share。

奈何，中國對開放互聯網，都是傾於保守的。

所以，中國有很多”借用” 了外地成功的business model ，ethical 方面當然是講不過去，不過這些”土炮”亦成功打造自己的天下。(這種情況究竟會持續多久呢?)

Google 收購On2 有阻滯

問題就是錢，收購的價錢太低。向來都是這個問題。

On2′s board breached their fiduciary deals by agreeing to be purchased by Google, and seeking to stop the deal.

原來這個deal 對on2 都有點兒harsh….怪不得有人反對~

And a complaint says that On2′s agreement included provisions with Google — such as a $2 million breakup fee and a “no shop” clause — that would make it harder for On2′s board to get a better offer.

可能要收購會比想像中需要更長的時間，變數太多了。
會不會因為這個問題，打亂了google 的計劃呢?

Google 推出新的 search engine

雖然介面上，用家應該完全看不到分別。

但是，明顯的是快了不少，因為indexing的速度是原來的兩倍

但由於Google可能有大幅修改搜尋引擎的運作方式，許多專門開發各種技巧、讓網頁擠進Google搜尋結果前列的行銷公司，現在將必須開始研究這個新引擎。這些行銷公司為客戶的網站調整關鍵字、連結與網站結構，迎合搜尋引擎的運作方式，讓客戶的網站能在頭幾頁的搜尋結果中曝光。

Google在公司部落格上聲明：「過去幾個月來，一大群Google人都在秘密研發一項計畫：下一代的Google網頁搜尋架構。我們將把搜尋量、列表速度、準確度、全面性與其他方面的性能推到極致，這只是第一步。」

這是否等如重新洗牌? 是重新學習的好時機???

不過chowky身為一個blogger…..其實怎可以完全不懂呢?
