Mac Office 會加入business edition; Outlook 將會在2010年推出
Microsoft Mac Office Software Product Line將會重整。
- Home and Studyent Edition
- Mac Business Edition ( 由原本的office 2008 for mac and office 2008 for Mac Special Media Edition 合二為一)
ms 其中既兩個product 的整合。…..
Business Edition will add Microsoft Document Connection for Mac, which helps improve access and browsing to documents on SharePoint and Microsoft Office Live Workspace. It will also add over 200 business templates and new professional clip art.
會否因為outlook 而令mac 人轉email client???
“Outlook for Mac will bring features our customers have long requested – such as Rights Management – that make working across platforms even easier. I think people will see that this move to Outlook for Mac is more than just a name change.”
Adobe 將會是下一個 Microsoft?
我們應該看看數據，以前要hack into a network，當然是會找window 的漏洞。
現在，應該會是Flash Player / Acrobat Reader (果然是樹大招風)
先看看2008 的targeted attacks ，就會知道acrobat reader 都差不多已佔有30%。

Microsoft 搞環保
每一間公司都應該要肩負起社會責任 （哈，其實這是public relation的手法而已）
一來可以提昇一下corporate image
二來可以收集人流，promote 自己的product。
何樂而不為？
Microsoft 將推出免費 anti-virus/ anti-malware
近來真是愈來愈多免費的anti-virus/ anti-malware，連ms 都打算加入，暫時未知道target market。
不過，至少多一個選擇都不錯的。
chowky 覺得應該不簡單，發覺原來是Windows Live OneCare 推出後反應不好，ms唯有重施故技 (有機會要看看foxpro，window forms, .net 的歷史)，推出新的product 名為”Morro” 。慢慢phase out 自己研發的product。ms 推出新的anti-virus ，公司當然可以提出很多的理由去support推出新的product，只但導致phase out自己的product ，就只有一個reason –不好賣。試問有錢賺的話，為什麼不做下去?
Microsoft 推出新的search engine: Bing

看完介紹之後，那些features 當然看來不錯，不過有時候search engine 是比較accuracy，chowky可以肯定地表示，bing在幾年內都沒有可以達到google web 方面、以及engine 上的技術層面。
所以，bing 打另一種的戰術 (feature)，decision engine，表示這個engine 是以幫助你找答案。

奇怪的是，flash player 都開到，不用install silverlight?….ms自己也放棄silverlight?
