聽到這個新聞，chowky都嚇了一跳，oracle 買sun, chowky 反而不擔心java地位會有大轉變，因為java 在oracle 的地位好重要，Oracle Finance, ERP, Form Developer，整個oracle 都是利用了java 技術的。雖然甲骨文執行長Larry Ellison表明目標是Java。chowky 認為事情不應該so simple。是次舉動很大。肯定是有長遠計劃的。對於oracle 大部分的enterprise applications 都是利用java 1.4.2 來build 的。
